Installation

1) Open the Windows hosts file for editing
“C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts”
Linux /etc/hosts
Add:
127.0.0.1 wowzamedia.com
127.0.0.1 wowzalicense1.wowzamedia.com
127.0.0.1 wowzalicense2.wowzamedia.com
127.0.0.1 wowzalicense3.wowzamedia.com
127.0.0.1 wowzalicense4.wowzamedia.com
127.0.0.1 wowzalicense5.wowzamedia.com
127.0.0.1 wowza.netmasters.nl
127.0.0.1 www.towza.com
127.0.0.1 www.towza.tom

2) Installing Windows
Open WowzaStreamingEngine-4.9.4+3-windows-installer.exe, follow the wizard instructions, and enter the serial number listed below.

2) Installing Linux
Go to the directory with the file WowzaStreamingEngine-4.9.4+3-linux-x64-installer.run
chmod +x ./WowzaStreamingEngine-4.9.4+3-linux-x64-installer.run
./WowzaStreamingEngine-4.9.4+3-linux-x64-installer.run

4) Replace the file from the crack folder wms-server.jar in ‘/usr/local/WowzaStreamingEngine-4.9.4+3/lib’ for Linux
‘Wowza Media Systems\Wowza Streaming Engine 4.9.4+3\lib’ for Windows

4.1) For Linux only, symlink /usr/local/WowzaStreamingEngine-4.9.4+3/jre to /usr/local/WowzaStreamingEngine-4.9.4+3/java

5) Restart wowza

service WowzaStreamingEngine restart
service WowzaStreamingEngineManager restart
or
/etc/init.d/WowzaStreamingEngine restart
/etc/init.d/WowzaStreamingEngineManager restart

For Windows, in Administration->
Wowza Streaming Engine Services 4.9.4+3, right-click Start\Restart
Wowza Streaming Engine Manager 4.9.4+3, right-click Start\Restart

6) If you want to disable checking for program and Java version updates on the wowza.com server AFTER the first launch, replace the 2 files from the crack\disable update watch folder in the -> folders

For Windows:’Wowza Media Systems\Wowza Streaming Engine 4.9.4+3\manager\temp\webapps\enginemanager\WEB-INF\classes\org\apache\jsp\tag\web\wmsform’

For Linux: ‘WowzaStreamingEngine/manager/temp/webapps/enginemanager/WEB-INF/classes/org/apache/jsp/tag/web/wmsform’

7) Restart wowza again
