Description

Spotify Overview

Spotify is a free streaming music player that incorporates a wealth of online features. Spotify boasts a huge music catalog supported by major music companies, such as EMI, Warner Music, Sony, and Universal, and you can search the catalog using a well-designed search engine.
However, you can also use Spotify in other ways, such as listening to the built-in radio, which categorizes music by genre and date. Create and edit playlists, shuffle, loop, pause, view album art, and integrate with Last.fm. Finally, although Spotify is a streaming music player, it also lets you listen to music stored on your hard drive or removable drive.

Notes

  • Portable (yaP Launcher * ) version
  • Multilingual interface
  • Banner and audio advertising blocked (mrpond)
  • Disabled program autoloading at system startup
  • Added a script to clear the Spotify cache ** (amd64fox)

yaP Launcher is selected for storing and using user files directly in the portable folder. This means it will NOT, like PAF, temporarily move them to the user profile, thereby causing unnecessary wear on the system drive.
yaP Launcher requires elevated privileges to work with symlinks. Therefore, its use is NOT recommended on systems with UAC enabled
. Unfortunately, yaP Launcher has a traditional small false positive.

** SpotifyCleanCache.bat – a script for clearing the Spotify cache according to three rules:

  • files older than 7 days from the DataSpotifyLOCALData
  • folder – files from the DataSpotifyLOCALData folder, if its size exceeds 499 MB
  • the mercury.db file from the DataSpotifyLOCALData folder, if its size exceeds ~30 MB

The program launch file SpotifyPortable.exe.ex

How to use in blocked Countries?

  1. To use a VPN, you need to create an account (free) on the Spotify website.
  2. In your account profile settings, set the country (if not set automatically) you used to log in via VPN.
  3. Launch the Spotify client using the VPN and log in to the account you created ( the country on the website (account) and in the client must be the same ).
  4. You can disable the VPN and use it.

Note:
If the client kicks you out of their account after a couple of weeks, confirm it again using the method described above. (Point #3)
