Rhinoceros For Mac allows you to create, edit, analyze, visualize and transform NURBS* curves, surfaces, solids, point clouds and polygon meshes. There are no restrictions on the complexity, extent or size of objects other than those imposed by the computer equipment you use.
From the very beginning of Rhino’s development, the goal was to eliminate as many bottlenecks associated with the software workflow as possible, as well as introduce thousands of changes large and small. All this was supposed to significantly speed up Rhino and provide the ability to process very large models and collaborate on projects.

Notes

Step 1: Preparation

• Right-click the .dmg file -> Open.
• Run “Open Gatekeeper Friendly” via Control + Click -> Open.
• If Sequoia blocks the launch: System Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Open Anyway .

Step 2: Installation

• Drag the Rhino 8 icon to your Applications folder.

Step 3: Treatment (if it says “File is corrupted”)

1. Open Terminal.
2. Enter the command:
   Code:
   sudo xattr -cr
   (A space is required after -cr!).
3. Drag Rhino 8 from Programs into the Terminal window and press Enter.
4. Enter your password (the characters are not visible) and press Enter again.

Step 4: If the program crashes (Codesign)

1. In Terminal, enter:
   Code:
   sudo codesign --force --deep --sign -
   (with a space at the end).
2. Drag Rhino 8 into Terminal and press Enter.

Step 5: Important!
Block the program’s internet access using Little Snitch or LuLu.
