nanoCAD 3DScan Overview

nanoCAD 3DScan is now installed as a separate, standalone application, providing a dedicated and optimized workspace for 3D scanning data. The 3DScan tools are based on Nanosoft AS’s unique proprietary technologies and allow for the processing of 3D scanning data with the highest levels of performance and reliability. By using these and other 3DScan tools, you can build efficient data processing pipelines for 3D scanning, ultimately obtaining the information you need about real world objects.

Installation

1. Install nanoCAD 3DScan 25.0 (8020)
2. Copy and replace “nCad.dll” to “c:\Program Files\Nanosoft AS\nanoCAD 3DScan 25.0” (default).
3. Edit “3DS250AS00000-99999.lic”
and replace YOUR_HOSTID_HERE with the MAC address of the network device (without spaces, dashes, or colons).
An example MAC address is 0800273e55b5
Where to find the MAC address (physical address):
Windows 10, Settings > Network & Internet > Status > View hardware and connection properties;
Windows 11, Settings > Network & Internet > Ethernet.
4. Start > nanoCAD 3DScan 25.0 > Registration Wizard > Manually activate license file > specify the modified “3DS250AS00000-99999.lic”.
5. Launch nanoCAD 3DScan 25.0
P.S. In some cases, it is recommended to delete/move other lic-files from the folder “c:\ProgramData\Nanosoft AS\RegWizard\Licenses”
