Real-time sound synthesis

MODO BASS is still the first and only virtual instrument that simulates the entire process of playing bass. Unlike sample-based instruments, MODO BASS uses modal synthesis technology, which will definitely bring your bass line to life.

MODO BASS recreates the interaction between the strings and the player, as well as the interaction of the string with the neck, body and pickups of a bass instrument. Then, using IK’s analog modeling expertise, the amp and effects of an electric bass kit are added to the sound chain.

MODO BASS gives you MIDI control over important parameters that can be automated in real time. Changing parameters while you play is one of the secrets to achieving maximum realism, and MODO BASS is the only virtual instrument that can really do it.

Installation

1. Before you begin installation:
   1. Open the command line (as administrator).2. Type notepad C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and press Enter.3. Add to the opened hosts file:

2. If you have not installed and signed in to IK Product Manager, run IK Product Manager Fake Info.reg and agree to the changes. This will add a fake user ID to your computer.
   This value is required to run some IK Multimedia applications.
3. Install MODO BASS 2
4. Run IK_Multimedia_Keygen.exe , select the product (IK Multimedia MODO BASS 2) and click Register . The “Log” should say “Successfully registered!”
   Note: To use a SampleTank based plugin, you also need to register SampleTank 3/4. Otherwise, the libraries will show up as unregistered.
