Description
IDA Pro Overview
IDA Pro is an interactive disassembler that is widely used for reverse engineering. It is extremely flexible, has a built-in command language, and supports many executable file formats for a large number of processors and operating systems. The original author and main developer is Ilfak Gilfanov.
IDA Pro Features
Allows you to build flowcharts, change label names, view local procedures in the stack, and much more.
As a disassembler, it can create execution maps to show the binary instructions that are actually executed by the processor in symbolic (assembler) representation. IDA Pro implements advanced technologies that allow it to generate assembly language source code from machine-executable code and make this complex code more human-readable.
IDA, to a certain extent, can automatically perform code analysis using cross-references, knowledge of standard library function call parameters, and other information. However, its full power is revealed in its interactive interaction with the user. At the beginning of the study, the disassembler performs automatic analysis of the program, and then the user, using IDA’s interactive tools, begins to give meaningful names, comment, create complex data structures, and otherwise add information to the listing generated by the disassembler until it becomes clear what exactly the program being studied does and how.
The disassembler has console and graphical versions. It supports a large number of executable file formats. One of the distinctive features of IDA Pro is the ability to disassemble the byte code of Java and .NET virtual machines. It also supports macros, plugins and scripts, and the latest versions contain an integrated debugger.

Keygen3.py is also a patcher. Place it in the program’s executable folder and run it. It will create files with the “.patched” extension and a license file.
Place the “.patched” files in place of the original ones (replace the original files with the patched ones), run the program, and select the license file in the license manager. Activation is now complete.
All (or almost all?) .py files in the distribution are both keygens and patchers, meaning they modify the program and generate a license file that the program will accept as valid.
Also included in the distribution are keygens from vovan2200 and TOM_RUS.
vovan2200 refactored the keygen patcher into Python, and the updated version is also a .py file that patches binary files (no longer creating .patched files, but modifying the files that need to be patched) and generates a license file.
TOM_RUS wrote and compiled native keygens for each OS. A usage example can be found in the Windows keygen archive, or you can add the “–help” argument to the executable file.
Keygen.js was distributed with IDA 9.3 by authlol, and it’s likely that this keygen can’t patch files and is only used to generate the license file. I haven’t tested this keygen, and the original distribution didn’t include instructions for its use. I’ve added it just in case.
Approximate activation algorithm:
1. Install Python
2. Move the keygen.py file (for example, the file from vovan2200) to the program folder
3. Run CMD as administrator and run the command: cd “C:Program FilesIDA Professional 9.x”
4. Run the command: python keygen.py
5. Run IDA Pro and select the .hexlic activation file (located in the folder where the keygen was)
Done
If you’re just starting out in reverse engineering, don’t know the basics, and decided to use this tool right away, but you still couldn’t activate it after following the simple instructions, and you’re too lazy to read the Python keygen source code and replace one byte, read the comments on how other users did it, maybe it will help you.

Just in case, I backed up SDK v9.3 and also for distribution

FAQ
Answers to possible questions:
1. Why isn’t there a portable version?
– Because the portable Linux and Windows versions contain over 2,000 relatively small files. This large number of small files increases both the size of the .torrent file and the likelihood that one of the files will download corrupted, which can cause the program to launch and run incorrectly. Installing the program from the official installer and then moving the file folder to a convenient location takes just 5 minutes.
2. What are the files in the “misc” folder for?
– The SDKs are duplicated from the official repository https://github.com/HexRaysSA/ida-sdk
– IDA Pro 9.2 Beta 2 Qt 6 Fix for Win7 – fixed Qt6 libraries for IDA Pro v9.2 to work on Windows 7+, by @reversecode
Comment from one of the users who tested them:
The latest release added another file: Qt6Xml.dll (but it seems to work without replacing it)
I didn’t notice any serious issues with the fix, the only small non-critical visual bug is that links (in About or Splash) are displayed in black (not blue as they should be), and are hard to see on a dark theme.
– Servers for IDA 9.1: hexlicsrv91/hexvault91/lumina91 were published a couple of days before the release of v9.2. These files weren’t included with the v9.1 release, so they’re not included in the v9.1 distribution
. I don’t know if these servers will work with v9.2. Patches for them are in the keygen folder from vovan2200.
