Cypheros TS-Doctor Overview

Cypheros TS-Doctor is the perfect tool for editing, repairing and converting TS files from all common satellite, cable, DVB-T receivers, video cameras and IPTV. MP4, MKV, MPG, VOB, MOV, AVI, WTV files can also be converted and edited quickly, easily and without quality loss. Editing files in transport stream format such as TS, M2TS, M2T, MTS, REC, TS4, DVR, STR, TRP, etc. can be difficult. Many standard video editing programs cannot edit these types of files properly. The audio is asynchronous, the playback stutters, stops, or cannot be played at all after editing. TS-Doctor can do it better, faster, and without any loss of quality.

Smart data analysis
Once a TV recording is opened, TS-Doctor starts a fast, deep analysis of the transport stream to get as much information as possible about the structure, included streams and metadata. In this way, it is possible to read almost any transport stream format used by modern recording devices, be it TS, MTS, M2TS, DVR, TS4, TRP, REC, STR or other related format. It tries to determine the source and exact format of the recording, the program guide and the best methods for troubleshooting and detection. Most set-top boxes record much more than one video and one audio stream.
Commercial discovery
TS-Doctor uses this additional information and helps you remove annoying commercial breaks and junk data, fix streaming issues, and bring your recording into line with your video library and improve compatibility with modern media players.
Metadata
If possible, it extracts information from the program guide and saves it along with the new cut file, so you know exactly which movie or episode you have recorded. TS-Doctor tries to get this data from the EPG, teletext or receiver-specific files, if available.
Video editing
TS-Doctor includes an easy-to-use video editor window that allows you to check or improve the result of automatic cutting or allow manual cutting. Simple, fast and lossless cutting TS-Doctor can even be used for camcorder recordings if the recording format is TS, MTS or M2TS. This is the case, for example, with many Sony, Canon and Panasonic models.
DVB Subtitles Conversion
Converts DVB subtitles to the more widely used SRT text format. This makes TS Doctor one of the few programs capable of converting DVB subtitles, including color information, to text format.

The results page provides a detailed overview of the amount of data removed and errors found during processing. Even the streams are checked deeply, TS-Doctor is lightning fast.

Useful Expert Tools
TS-Doctor includes many useful tools for working with transport streams. With these tools you can merge, filter, demultiplex, remultiplex streams or even use TS Packet Viewer to inspect transport streams at the packet level. TS-Doctor is a Swiss army knife for transport streams.

Installation

1.) Before installation: If you are running the program on a virtual machine, such as VMware, make sure that the installer does not detect that it is running on a virtual machine. In VMware, this can be done by editing the .vmx file and adding “monitor_control.restrict_backdoor = “true”” (excluding the “symbols”) – if you are installing on a PC or laptop, skip this.
2.) Install the program by running TSDoctor4Installer.exe.
3.) If you hid your virtual machine in the first step, you can open it now (you will know what to do…) – that is, open the program.
4.) Use kg.exe to generate a license file
5.) Open the program, go to “Help” -> “Register License File” and use the generated license file
6.) Done.

NOTE: If you have changed your license more than six times, you will have to delete C:\ProgramData\Cypheros
or you will run into problems.

NOTE: Never install any updates and always remember that it is wise to use your firewall to block the program’s access to the Internet.

P.S. Just in case, I leave the license file that came with the program, in case of problems, use it (TSDoctor4.lic)
